Our Aspiration
We make books you arrive in. You get to know places, everyday life and people so well that you find your way around, and you gladly come back, even in series where every volume stands on its own. You wonder what you would do in the character’s place, and you want to know why even the quirky and unsettling characters are the way they are. Along the way you learn something real, without a lecture. And if the story surprises you, it is because it does something of its own, not because a trick is waiting at the end of the chapter. That is our aspiration for every book.
Human and AI
A human takes responsibility for every book: concept, plot development, character design, style, editing and the final approval. AI is our tool, and we say openly where we use it. Which models were used for what is stated in a note in every book. We keep developing the system behind it, which is why the models may change.
Research and Review
Every story begins with research: real places, real professions, verifiable facts backed by sources. Each book then goes through several rounds of review, and in the end a human signs it off. Only then does it come to you.
